Job description

• Report to work on time and check schedule the day before
• Prepare the daily mis-en-place, cook and serve all recipe dishes from section according to brand standards
• Have full knowledge of all menu items, daily features and promotions
• Minimize wastage through correct preparation levels, stock control and portioning
• Clearly communicate any issues impacting their section / food quality
• Report any defect in equipment immediately to the chef in-charge
• Maintain a clean, safe and healthy working environment
• Follow HACCP procedure according to company standards
• Work with colleagues to ensure the day to day operation is smooth
• Attend training sessions whether internal or external when required
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with colleagues and guests
• Be able to work in another area when needed and take part in cross training when directed
• Control food stock of designed section
• Report any problem or complain related to colleagues or guest to the Chef in-charge
• Coordinate daily task with Chef in-charge
• Carries out any reasonable instruction / duties as directed

Requirements

• At least one year of experience as DCDP
• Experience in a steakhouse or smokehouse
