Culinary Kitchen Rotation:

The Intern/Trainee will gain an overview of the host organization, community, and be introduced to the company's personnel structure and resources that will be a part of his overall program.

In this program you will prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.

Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.

Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.

Prepare cold foods.

Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.

Test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently.

Monitor food quality while preparing food. Set-up and break down work station.

Serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles.

Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.

Check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food.

  • Number of positions: 10
  • Payrates: Intern-$18.50 Trainee-$19.00 Overtime rate of 1.5 x normal rate offered but not guaranteed. Overtime will depend on business levels and will need to be approved by your supervisor.

About you


- Ability to receive direction and perform responsibilities in a fast paced environment.

- Ability to accept constructive criticism, especially when under pressure.

- Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

- Standing and constant moving for long periods of time (up to 8 hours per shift).

- Frequent bending and stooping.

- Lifting up to 40lbs/11 kg.

- Must possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members.

Required experience- Some Culinary experience preferred but not required.

English level - Excellent
