Located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, the Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge is a world class mountain resort property featuring 408 guest rooms, 5 unique Food & Beverage outlets, conference facilities, Albertas first Nordic spa and staff accommodations. All surrounded by untouched beauty and rugged mountain peaks in the Canadian Rockies and conveniently located one hour west of Calgary and forty five minutes south of Banff and Canmore.

 

We are looking for an Executive Sous Chef

 

As the Executive Sous Chef, you are responsible to create and execute a memorable dining experience for all guests of Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge.  Successfully mastering this position requires a commitment to building, training and coaching a successful team behind the scenes, and exhibiting a presence of leadership on the floor.  You will achieve excellence by maximizing profitability and elevating guest satisfaction, by using your culinary expertise in unique product development and menu creation, meeting or exceeding planned objectives for revenue, food cost, and guest scores and by leading your people to deliver consistent exceptional food quality time and time again.

Job Requirements

 

In order to be successfully considered for this role you will have 6-8 years of experience, completion of a B.A. preferred, with Red Seal.  The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, energetic person who is capable of carrying out all charges in a diversified Resort environment.
