Front Office Agent
About the job
The Front Office Agent is responsible for checking–in and checking-out our guests in a friendly and caring manner according to Kempinski procedures and standards. The successful candidate will display a professional and positive image of the hotel and play a crucial role in creating the first and last impressions our guests will have.
Key Responsibilities:
- Registers guests upon check-in and assigned rooms providing a seamless service to the guest, accommodating special requests where possible and assisting guests in completing the registration cards
- Shows guests to their room and does hotel tours and show-arounds
- Works closely with the porters as well as with the housekeeping team in coordinating room statuses
- Manages guest check out procedures including processing payments and settling guest accounts seamlessly and correctly
- Takes reservations for room & restaurant bookings and advises guests on local questions
- Deals with guest complaints effectively and escalates to manager as necessary
About you
- At least one year’s experience in a similar position within a 5 star hotel
- European Union working rights is a must
- Enthusiastic and pleasant personality
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Knowledge of any other languages would be beneficial
- Language required: English.
