OVERALL OBJECTIVES

To conduct duties in the assigned Place of Work and provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service consistent with Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok Standards Policies & Procedures in order to maximize guest satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational

  • To be an enthusiastic, positive and vibrant member of the Concierge section, delivering outstanding service to all our guests at all times and in all circumstances.
  • To welcome all guests to our Hotel with a smile, acknowledging them for the duration of their stay and taking a genuine interest in them.
  • To control the traffic ensuring that there are no vehicles blocking the hotel entrance.
  • To be totally familiar with all facilities, functions and special events in the Hotel on a daily basis, assisting guests with any inquiries.
  • To be aware of all services which the Hotel, inclusive of recreational, food and beverage, guest services, special events and promotions.
  • To open the door entrance for all guests arriving and departing the hotel.
  • To assist guests and visitors to the Hotel with directions.
  • To accompany the arriving guests and departing guests to check in and check out at the Front Desk Counter respectively.
  • To keep the working areas tidy and clean at all the times
  • To be fully conversant with all local, city and regional tourist services inclusive of tours, points of interest, restaurants, special events, transportation and other Concierge Services that guests expect of our Hotel.
  • To take a personal interest in the presentation and first impression of the Hotel Driveway and Entrance, ensuring at all times its appearance is of the highest possible standard befitting the Hotel’s reputation for service excellence.
  • To be diligent with all aspects of the Hotel security, reporting any suspicious activity to the Concierge, Chief Concierge or Managers in Front Office Department immediately.
  • To perform any additional tasks as requested by our guests or management to ensure our guests receive superior service, including assisting Concierge, Front Desk, Executive Lounge and Operator.
  • To be pro-active in the efficient operation of the Concierge.
  • To be fully conversant with the Hotel Emergency and Evacuation procedures.
  • Ensure that there is a thorough handover at the completion of each shift.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure grooming is in line with the Hotel policy.


General

  • To understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
  • To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag at all times.
  • To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
  • To maintain a good rapport and working relationship with staff in the Place of Work and all other departments.
  • To attend and contribute to all staff meetings Departmental and Hotel trainings scheduled and other related activities.
  • To undertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties as assigned by Concierge.
  • To respond to any changes in the Front Office Department as dictated by the hotel.
  • To project at all times a positive and motivated attitude and exercise self-control.
  • To provide a courteous and professional service at all times.
  • To attend all meetings as required by Chief Concierge or related Managers.


Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.
