A member of the Front Office Department, she shall be responsible for directing and guiding the reception team in providing highest level of hospitality to guests and ensuring a high standard of services from check in up to check out

KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure that all operating standards are fully implemented, maintained and exceeded throughout the reception to reach guest satisfaction.
• Co-ordinate with the Reception and assign in detail specific duties to all associates under her / his supervision.
• Oversee all the arrivals, departures including VIP guests; ensure communication to associates of any upcoming special requirements.
• Support the Front Desk during check-in and check-out times ensuring personalised and professional service to our guests at all times. Give information to guests who have no tour guides.
• Ensure prompt, efficient and accurate service to all the customers to achieve high level of guest satisfaction.
• Ensure communication both within the department and across the resort is timely, accurate and comprehensive.
• Ensure that the reception team does it utmost to up sell our resort products and services.
• Is responsible for handling guest complaints.
• Handle guest needs, inquiries, requests and complaints by assuring appropriate action is taken or delegated until guest satisfaction has been met and exceeded
• Monitor guest experience and actively seeking verbal feedback from them on a regular basis. Implement actions to make improvements to guest service.
• Communicate on a daily basis with guests at the reception counter about their experiences, wishes and needs.
• Create with his / her team a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the lobby.
• Anticipate up selling opportunities where possible.
• Actively participate in up selling programs at the Reception.
• Insist that Front office and lobby area is cleaned at any time and co-operates very closely with the Housekeeping and Maintenance department.
• Ensure through proper supervision that the surrounding and entrance of the resort is always in proper shape and communicate any discrepancy immediately to the Lobby boy.
• Is responsible for all report handling and giving them over to Front Office or Guest Service Manager /Duty Manager
Set up and ensure maintenance according to resort standards.
• Report all potential and real hazards appropriately to the Front Office Manager or Resident Manager.
• Fully understands the resort’s fire and emergency procedures.
Support a safe resort by applying resort regulations.
• Actively participate in Human Resources, Learning and Development initiatives that will help the Resort to deliver higher levels of service to our guests and our compliance to good health and safety practices at the workplace.
• To support by assisting with on-the-job training and orientation of new team members/trainees and other reasonable requests in order to improve the performance and service standards of our team.
• As a member of the leadership team, to coach, support and develop his/her team members, wherever required. This is in conjunction to promote opportunities for development and towards future success of our resort & the company.
• Excursions: escort all guest to the jetty for departures. Drive the guest to the rooms if necessary
• Driving the buggy: escort all VIP guest to the rooms and HPV
• This is not an exhaustive list of responsibility; it is only an indication of the duties and responsibilities expected from you. You could be subject to any other duty and responsibility by the management as and when required.

Requirements

• Should possess excellent communication skills in Spanish in addition to fluent English.
• Should have worked in Hospitality industry at similar position
• Should have a relevant experience of minimum 2 years.
• Should have working experience of Front office and preferred Asian experience only.
• Age between 22 to 30 years
• Must have done related educational course.
• Must be a team player and a well presentable person.

(Sharing); Medical Insurance – Free Group Medical Insurance and benefits in Maldives, India, Sri Lanka & Thailand; R&R - Ticket allowance of USD 500 to travel anywhere in Asia after completion of 6 months; Air Tickets – Annual return air tickets will be provided to travel to the home country after completion of 1 year.
