About the job

-Should be able to ensure that all menus are constantly updated, paying special attention to seasonal availability, all menus are correctly calculated to ensure maximum gross profit.
-Should liaise with management daily regarding special requirements, VIP's, etc.,to ensure that all statutory hygiene requirements are diligently followed, and that maintenance problems are promptly reported.
-Should be able to ensure that reports and administration requirements are submitted in set time.
-Should hold performance appraisals with all management staff, identifying areas for development and training needs, and ensuring that this training is affected.
-Should hold regular team member meeting, attend meetings as required and carry out or ensure that regular On-the-Job Training is taking place to agreed standards.
-Should be able to implement a department training program to ensure that all the food production team members possess the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
-Should be able to instill a sense of professionalism amongst the team members
  • Basic salary $2000 + Service charge $494

About you

-Diploma in Culinary Art or equivalent
-Excellent English skills, additional langauge/s is an advantage
-Minimum 5 years of experience at top food production level
-Good knowledge of food products, market exploitation, food cost controlling knowledge and knowledge of kitchen equipment.
  • Language required: German. French, Italian, and Russian are a plus
