Experience California with a Rotational J-1 Rooms Division Program

Job Description

Description of the Host Property:
Reminiscent of a sophisticated French chateau, the luxurious Lafayette Park Hotel & Spa tucks seamlessly into the heart of San Francisco’s East Bay area. A captivating hub for exploring the area’s restaurants, shops, wineries and cultural experiences, our recently refreshed hotel ranks #1 in the region, thanks to stylish guest rooms and suites, top-tier dining, sparkling event spaces, and service that’s both gracious and intuitive.

Description of the Training:
Create unforgettable guest experiences in the Guest Services department at a world-leading luxury hotel/resort through a J-1 program at the Lafayette Park Hotel & Spa. Train in a diverse and multicultural environment, under the guidance and leadership of industry leaders in the guest services field as you rotate in different roles in the department.

ITN & ODYSSEY All-Inclusive Program:
Unlike most J-1 Program providers, a regional ITN representative will guide you through a streamlined registration process, thanks to ITN and ODYSSEY’s all-inclusive approach. ITN and ODYSSEY will be on hand to provide you with the very best personalized service from the time that you arrive in the United States until your departure from the United States upon completion of your program.

Description of the Location:
Monterey is a city on California’s rugged central coast. Its Cannery Row, one-time center of the sardine-packing industry, was immortalized by novelist John Steinbeck. Today, it's a popular strip of gift shops, seafood restaurants and bars in converted factories. Also famous is Monterey Bay Aquarium, with thousands of marine animals and plants on display in underwater and interactive exhibits.
