Hosco Talent is recruiting on behalf of a lifestyle 4 stars branded hotel on the suburb of Paris for a Finance & HR Director.

The Finance & Human Resources Manager role is to lead and develop mainly two
departments, which are on one side the finance team as well as all HR related functions
together with training and employee development.
For HR topics, the main goal is to achieve a reasonable employee satisfaction to provide the
best service for the guests, which results in a higher guest satisfaction. Additionally
recruiting and training are the main topics in this section.
To ensure the delivery of financial standards, operating standards and profit levels in line
with corporate business objectives and financial targets. To manage all processes statutory
requirements and resources of the direct reporting departments.
The Finance & HR Manager will support the Operations Manager and Sales Manager/Director of Sales in the running of the hotel in the General Managers absence.

Manage and control all directly reporting department’s profit, budget, cost and
forecasts in line with business and corporate requirements.
- Interpretation, understanding and use of management accounts and Profit and Loss
accounts to effectively manage and develop the business.
- Is able to work in all aspects of accounting such as accounts receivable, accounts
payable, income audit
- Manage financial processes and ensure the accounts clerks, with the support of the
Finance & HR manager, are fulfilling all financial requirements.
- Analyse and report on the financial performance of all departments within the
responsible hotel.
- Submit necessary financial reports covering all aspects of the hotel to the General
Manager as required.
- Support on fiscal and local authority subjects to meet local law
- Prepare year-end figures together with auditors
- Responsible that all financial aspects/ SOPs/ policies/ procedures are in place in the
hotel and every employee is aware of them
- Lead and manage the direct reporting departments and their HOD’s, including
recruitment, selection, performance management, training and development and
succession planning as per company guidelines. Ensuring effective staffing in line
with business levels, forecasts and budget.
- Be aware of all HR topics together with local external payroll company (if applicable)
- Identifying individual training needs and implementing necessary training and
development with appropriate HOD’s.
- Effective cost control across all reporting departments
- Correspondence with owner about various topics


- Perfect knowledge in accounting
- Very good in analysing figures
- Keen in finding solutions for any problems or differences
- Good communication skills
- Good analytical skills
- Basic knowledge of local employment law and HR practices
