About the job

1. To provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times, following Hideaway Beach Resort Standards of Performance.
2. To be one of the leading 5-star hotel’s with a passionate and committed attitude this leads us to have passion for our staff by energizing and building a culture of innovation, service and pride in quality of work.
3. Inquire politely and unobtrusive with each guest whether they are satisfied with F&B or Hotel services.
4. To ensure that every guest is welcomed from the entrance, escort, seated and attended in accordance with our standards
5. Know regular guests, and pay particular attention to them.
6. Maintain good communication within the outlet.
7. Prepare menus and tables for the guests and keep restaurant clean at all the time.
8. Aware of the work schedule, punctual and dependable.
9. To perform all assigned duties with reference to approved checklists.
10. Thank and greet each guest personally when they are about to leave the restaurant.
11. Inform the Restaurant Manager of guest comments and suggestions.
12. To have a full working knowledge and capability to correct and demonstrate all duties and tasks in the assigned, place of Work to the standard set. Please note that Master Task Lists are reviewed and changed on a regular bases reflecting change in trends, guest expectations and operating philosophies.
13. To be entirely flexible and adapt to rotate within the different sub departments of the or any other Department of the hotel as assigned.
14. To perform all duties and tasks when rotated or assigned to another Department as per Master Task List for that Department.
15. To be fully conversant with all services and facilities offered by the hotel.
16. To perform opening and closing procedures established for the Place of Work as assigned.
17. To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all F&B related service and product and the ability to up sell alternatives.
18. To ensure that the Place of Work and surrounding area is kept clean and organized at all times.

19. To handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to supervisors if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with guests

About you

• Previous experience in a similar position
• Strong personality who fosters good team working relations
• Positive with a ‘can do ‘attitude
• Experience working in a multicultural team
• Flexible working hours, hands on, patient, people’s person and very service oriented
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Arabic
  • Language required: English.
