LHG has a great opportunity for a Hotel Manager to join our team in London.
As the Hotel Manager, you will have overall accountability, responsibility and authority for the management of the business, and its day to day operations.

Main Duties:

People
• Promote a culture that reflects the organization’s values, encourages good performance, and rewards productivity.
• Communication with the departments must be of the highest standards.
• Recruit, direct, motivate and maintain a competent, well-trained, flexible and responsive staff capable of meeting current and future needs.
• Conduct / Supervise staff training as required by operation/department needs.
• Team Member Reviews – Ensure the performance of all team members are reviewed on a 6 monthly and annual basis.
• Supervise and manage Department Heads and Assistant Managers.

Profit
• Draw up a strategic plan to increase revenue including incremental revenue and cash margin.
• BW Rewards enrollment target must be achieved by the end of the year.
• Ensure cost control policies are in place not restricted to payroll, supplies and administration expenses.
• Ensure an adequate administration, for the outgoing and incoming invoices, for the payment of invoices and for drawing up periodical management data.

Customer
• Voice of the customer - Medallia scores is in line with UK benchmark targets. All surveys are responded with satisfactory resolutions.
• Review Trip Advisor comments and ensure all comments are responded within 3 days of feedback receipt.
• Visit all social media platforms to analyse guest comments and take appropriate action to improve the quality of service.
• BW Reward customers must be acknowledged as per Brand requirements.

Quality
• QA audit action points are completed.
• Ensure the preventive maintenance & deep cleaning records as per QA requirements are in place.
• Develop and implement operational policies, strategic plans, and annual operating plans within the framework of the long terms directions approved by the senior management.
• Stays abreast of current trends related to the hotel industry and anticipates future trends likely to have an impact on the business.
• Maintenance issues are recorded, and preventive measures are in place to ensure the quality of hotel property and its functioning is of highest standards. This is not restricted to service contracts and daily maintenance checks.
• Communication levels must not only be confined to emergencies, incidents, accidents but also related to guests, staff and general issues.

Health & Safety
• Hotel Manager will be responsible to carry out all training in regard to Health & Safety including Fire training, Risk Assessments and departmental training.
• Records must be available at any point of time with correct training materials and staff signatures.
• Fire Risk Assessment must be signed off with all action points cleared.
• Kitchen records must be up to date with correct information.
• All conditions in regard to Licensing requirements must be in place and appropriate training is completed.

Requirements

• Good Customer Service.
• Willingness to listen and respond to complaints, Understand, and resolve concerns from guests.
• Strong Organizational Skills.
• Problem Solving Skills for both customers and staff members that have problems at the hotel.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Degree in Hospitality Management.
• Good Leadership to help oversee and motivate staff members.
