Rosewood Hotel Group is looking for a Director of Global Sales.

Responsible for generating incremental sales primarily through new client acquisition from the West Coast for groups, meetings, and negotiated corporate accounts. This individual will also be responsible for the overall management, productivity, and achievement of sales goals. This role will provide sales leadership and will work closely with each hotel’s sales department to ensure that their strategic sales priorities and booking strategy is in line with properties’ business needs.

Responsibilities


(50% of Target) Lead business development efforts to actively identify and develop new sources of group business from the West Coast with global business for the brand.
(25% of Target) Lead business development efforts to actively identify and develop new negotiated corporate business West of the Mississippi with global business for the brand.
(25% of Target) Manage global group accounts from the West Coast with global business for the brand.
Demonstrate sales leadership in the specific market segment and geographic region assigned.
Provide guidance and strategic direction for accounts to on-property sales managers and directors to maximize both service experience and revenues
Conduct bi-annual review meetings with key accounts, identify opportunities for improvement, solicit for new business, and service for maximum partnership.
Develop annual SMART strategic account plans for Global Accounts - detailing objectives, timelines, and sales methods to support the growth of the defined account opportunity.
Serve as escalation path and advocate on customer’s behalf to corporate leadership and senior management to ensure prompt resolution and ongoing customer satisfaction.
Evaluate promotional events, trade shows, and community and industry events to ensure attendance produces the proper return on investment.
Facilitate strategic and/or preferred agreements on behalf of global accounts for review and implementation with Senior Corporate Director of Global Sales.
Accurately manage and build database of customers in Global FDC (salesforce) or the relevant CRM tool in place.
Manage and oversee GSO sales cost center budget, including proactive review and adherence to budget on a regular basis. Provide budget input for segment related expenses.
Job Requirements: Qualifications


Minimum of 5 years’ hotel sales and new business development experience with corporate groups and meetings in a luxury hotel sales environment.  Prior experience in international hotels/resorts and selling multiple properties/brands is preferred.
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
Excellent networking and new business development skills with the ability to research and identify top prospects and for growth of an existing account in LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
A strong track record in successfully driving sales and building client relationships in a competitive sales environment.
Ability to negotiate, consult, sell and influence decision makers and influencers.
Knowledge and understanding of sales procedures associated with the hotel industry.
Ability to sell and represent ideas persuasively and energetically to internal and external clients.
Ability to coach and mentor direct reports and on-property sales colleagues.
Ability to analyze, interpret and understand financial data as it relates to sales performance.
Ability to plan and execute sales trips on budget and in compliance with corporate travel policy.
