Rosewood Hotel Group is looking for a Director of Global Sales.
This individual will also be responsible for the overall management, productivity, and achievement of sales goals for the Midwest Incentive Group Market, as well as generating incremental sales through new client acquisition. This role will provide sales leadership and will work closely with each hotel’s sales department to ensure that their strategic sales priorities and booking strategy is in line with properties’ business needs.
 
Responsibilities
Positively impact hotel revenue generating areas through sales and marketing activities from the Midwest group and incentive market
Protect and grow strategic partners and key accounts with specific and targeted activities
Prospect, identify and target accounts in accordance with collection’s strategic plan to maximize revenue during peak and non-peak periods
Manage global group accounts from the Midwest with global business for the brand.
Demonstrate sales leadership in the specific market segment and geographic region assign
Provide guidance and strategic direction for accounts to on-property sales managers and directors to maximize both service experience and revenues
Conduct bi-annual review meetings with key accounts, identify opportunities for improvement, solicit for new business, and service for maximum partnership.
Develop annual SMART strategic account plans for Global Accounts - detailing objectives, timelines, and sales methods to support the growth of the defined account opportunity.
Serve as escalation path and advocate on customer’s behalf to corporate leadership and senior management to ensure prompt resolution and ongoing customer satisfaction.
Evaluate and manage promotional events, trade shows, and community and industry events to ensure attendance produces the proper return on investment.
Facilitate strategic and/or preferred agreements on behalf of global accounts for review and implementation with Senior Corporate Director of Global Sales.
Accurately manage and build database of customers in Global FDC (salesforce) or the relevant CRM tool in place.
Manage and oversee GSO sales cost center budget, including proactive review and adherence to budget on a regular basis. Provide budget input for segment related expenses.
Position Rosewood Hotel Group as the premier luxury brand in the market.
Job Requirements:  
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years’ hotel sales and new business development experience with groups, incentives and meetings in a luxury hotel sales environment. 
Has built strong relationships with key incentive companies in the Midwest including principals, account executives, and senior level influencers.
Prior experience in international hotels/resorts and selling multiple properties/multi-brand
Based in Chicago/Midwest market required.
Excellent networking and new business development skills with the ability to research and identify top prospects and for growth of an existing account in LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
A strong track record in successfully driving sales and building client relationships in a competitive sales environment.
Ability to negotiate, consult, sell and influence decision makers and influencers.
Results-oriented, self-motivated and strong multi-tasker with strong problem solving skills.
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
Knowledge and understanding of sales procedures associated with the hotel industry.
Ability to sell and represent ideas persuasively and energetically to internal and external clients.
Ability to coach and mentor direct reports and on-property sales colleagues.
Ability to analyze, interpret and understand financial data as it relates to sales performance.
Ability to plan and execute sales trips on budget and in compliance with corporate travel policy.
