About the job

Responsibilities

• Attend daily and weekly internal department or related meetings/briefings and share any information/interests.
• Chair Club Lounge Attendants meetings to enhance the level of service and resolve work issues.
• Awareness and sensitivity to the concept of luxury and quality
• Attend to any VIPs complaints or comments/feedback.
• Ensure to uphold a high level of safety precaution -FLHSS and HACCP at all times.
• Maintain an active presence in the Club Lounge
• Guide, develop and evaluates the performance of Club Lounge Attendants
• Ensure the ambience, cleanliness and exclusivity at Club Lounge at all times
• Liaise with the Club Lounge Manager to maintain correct staffing levels
• Monitor and ensure that all guests with access with the Club Lounge are escorted to their respective rooms by the Club Lounge Attendants upon arrival
• Ensure to check and inspect all rooms assigned and VIP rooms in accordance with LQE
• Represent the Club Lounge Manager during his/her absence
• Works closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Room Service, Concierge and all F&B departments
• Monitor training of new colleagues and their progress
• Help the Club Lounge Manager to meet and greet VIP guests
• Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the department head
• Must be well versed with Food and Beverage services and knowledge
• Maintain and inspects the desk counter to ensure that work stations are maintained in accordance to the LQE
• Request sufficient stationeries for the daily operation

Preferred Qualifications and Skills
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a luxury 5-star hotel environment.
• Minimum 2 years’ Front Office/Guest Relations experience in a luxury hotel.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office, PSMS, GoConcierge, HotSoS, and Rex.
• Hotel pre-opening experience is an advantage.
• Middle East experience is an advantage.
• Arabic speaker is desirable.
