Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus, Istanbul

Set to open in early 2021, Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus, Istanbul, will be Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s second hotel in Turkey. The hotel will enjoy a prime location on the sunny shores of the Bosphorus, situated on the European side of Istanbul in the high-end residential Kuruçeşme neighborhood.

The urban resort, with its lush generous enchanted gardens, will feature two outdoor pools and private wooden pavilions on the shores of the Bosphorus. Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus, Istanbul will be comprised of 100 spacious guestrooms and suites, innovative restaurants & bars and expensive and elegant banqueting facilities. Spread over 2,700 square meters, The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus, Istanbul will become one of Istanbul’s best wellness and beauty destination.

Duties and Responsibilities

Support company’s philosophy and company culture through the use of Pillars and Legendary Quality Experiences on a daily basis to ensure Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement.
To be able to lead and communicate with his/her colleagues during the coffee bar operation.
To always follow the production sequence of all coffee products and bar sequence of service.
To achieve the service and product delivery standards with a high degree of client care and service at all times.
To responsible the set-up and operation of a coffee bar station/section.
Provide services for guest such as order taking, promoting restaurant food and beverage offerings.
Provide recommendations and prepare coffee and choices for the guest.
To co-ordinate the service of food and beverage efficiently and accurately.
To report and follow up all maintenance defaults affecting efficient and professional delivery of service.
To respond proactively to guest queries, followed by effective communication.
To perform all duties related to the restaurant opening/closing checklist.
Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Bar Supervisor/ Assistant Manager.
To carry out daily, weekly and monthly inventory.
Responsible for cash float and cashiering
To maintain and order all the store requisition.
To maintain the stock rotation.


Reading, writing, and verbal proficiency in the English language.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks.
Must be a self-motivator and motivator of others.
Must work in a safe, prudent and organized manner.
Must be able to relate to all levels of Guests and management.
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position, preferably in a luxury environment.
Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
Must be able to consistently delight and satisfy our Guest.
Must have very good communication skills.
Must have excellent attention to details, and extensive service knowledge.
