Bartender/F&B Waiter

The Bartender/ F&B Waiter is to perform by being proactive, interactive and reactive allowing each member of our guests to be completely satisfied during their meal and bar experience. He/she will be an active participant for the beverage program. Although this position will work primarily with the restaurant and bar, he/she will also support the other food and beverage venues as well through the selection of various beverage and design of the beverage list that each outlet will utilize for service.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist guests when they have questions about the menus/wine list/liquor and cocktails & take order from guests
• Prepare and serve drinks to guests
• Able to mix and match ingredients to address guests’ needs and expectations
• Ensure bar environment and equipment are clean and tidy
• Ensure that procedures and our Legendary Quality Standards are respected
• Have full knowledge of all menus being offered in the restaurant and seating/ table plan
• Ensure full co-operation with all other service colleagues and departments.

Requirements:

• Personal qualities:
  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks.
  • Must be a self-motivator and motivator of others.
  • Must work in a safe, prudent and organized manner.
  • Must be able to relate to all levels of Guests and management.
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Must be able to consistently delight and satisfy our Guest.
  • Must have excellent attention to details, and extensive service knowledge.
• Job knowledge:
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of food and preparation.
  • Must have an advanced-level knowledge of wine.
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of beverage and bar related products.
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of laws related to beverage service..
  • Restaurant and or Retail experience that has involved selling of wine and guest relations.
