Overview of Position
It is the mission and intent of this position that the incumbent will keep the guest’s perspective in mind at all times when providing various services and products to the guest and must always be representative of the brand. The incumbent will provide 5 star services to all guests and colleagues in accordance with Legendary Quality Experiences.
Responsibilities include handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism; accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolving customer complaints; assisting customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.; and making recommendations based on local knowledge and hotel practices. Bilingual and Les Clef's d'Or preferred. Candidate must be able to multi-task and handle guest complaints in a professional manner.
The Concierge reports directly to the Chef Concierge.
• Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the similar position, preferably in a luxury setting.
• Flexible schedule is required, including weekends and holidays.
• Have excellent communication, computer and organization skills.
• Must be able to work in a high-pace and dynamic operation.
• Able to work together with other colleagues.
• Have a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner.
• Maintain a clean and healthy personal hygiene and grooming.
• Work in a safe, prudent and organized manner.
• Able to handle multiple tasks at one time.
