We are looking for a Director of Human Resources to join our great team in Prague.
Purpose of the Position
- To recruit, select, induct and systematically train all employees up to Executive level, in line with Mandarin Oriental Mission Statement and Legislative requirements.
- To deliver quality products and services in line with LQE and competitor norms to meet business requirements and to satisfy guest expectations.
Principal Accountabilities
- To plan the recruitment and selection for personnel to agreed labor standards in line with hotel, company and legislative requirements.
- To plan an efficient usage of labor to meet business needs.
- To operate an efficient and accurate administration system in order to meet statutory, legal and internal requirements.
- To utilize, communicate and administrate the company and hotel benefits applicable to all colleagues.
- To provide a counselling and advisory service to all employees and to manage all grievance and disciplinary proceedings, adhering to company, hotel and legal requirements.
- To engage in an active manner and to participate in effective communications within the hotel, company and relevant organizations.
- To provide an infrastructure of planned training and development activity that meets the hotel, company and the individual.
- To provide caring and consistent welfare services to all colleagues.
- To encourages in an active manner and to develop the skills of individual members of the Human Resources team
- To adhere at all times to hotel and company rules and regulations and behave in a professional manner.
- To carry out any other reasonable requests as directed by the General Manager
Requirements
- minimum 5 years experience in similar role
- university degree
- knowledge of relevant legislation (Labor Code)
- effective communication skills
- ability to lead a team
- English and Czech language
