Job Description



It is the mission and intent of this position that the incumbent will take ownership of the kitchen and make it their own, cooking exceptional food, organizing and maintaining all standards of quality and cleanliness.

We are looking for a Sushi Cook for our Culinary Department.  Candidate should have at least 3-4 years of previous culinary experience, with at least 3 years’ experience in sushi.  Responsibilities include sushi roll making; preparing fish; set-up and breakdown of sushi station; and safe & sound sanitation. Incumbent must have excellent knife skills, food knowledge, as well as knowledge of proper sanitation practices. ServSafe certification is a plus. A flexible schedule is required, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. This is a full-time position only. Local candidates are preferred. Relocation is not available for this position.

The Sushi Cook Reports Directly to the Executive Chef and Sous Chef.
