The company

Manotel is the leading independent hotel group in Geneva, with a portfolio including six 3 and 4 star hotels, all located in the central district of the city. Building on a unique universe that invites guests to enjoy a change of scenery, each establishment cultivates its own environment through design. From the art-centric Hôtel N’Vy targeting the millennial generation, to the traditional Swiss chalet Hôtel Edelweiss, to the business-oriented Hôtel Royal, Manotel exudes diversity in its offerings. Each of the properties express the group’s ambition to offer a certain art of living.

What defines the Manotel culture is the company’s human-size. With just over 300 employees, Manotel Group offers the opportunity to work with a distinct portfolio of properties while promoting employee empowerment. This ability to get involved and get things done is one of the many things Manotel employees appreciate about the company.

Diversity and inclusion are also values Manotel prioritises. With 36 nationalities and 51% women, Manotel is proud of its international workforce, but above all, the hotel group hires the person, not the demographic, not the education, and not necessarily the experience. Jean-François Colloud, HR Director for the group, emphasises the importance of discovering the person in their hiring process: “We focus much more on personality than education and qualifications,” he says.

Manotel is constantly looking to the future, and its size allows it to be both agile and innovative while providing a unique perspective and playground for its employees. The group is directed by a modern vision and plans to expand its portfolio, which means more opportunities for new talents and internal growth for current team members.
