JOB SUMMARY

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Director, HR Delivery is responsible for driving the governance and delivery of HR Technology initiatives.  In this role, the Director, HR Delivery will work with HR COEs and HR Service Providers to manage the execution of the HR Technology initiatives, and partner with Change management & Communications and Learning partners to drive the successful implementations of technology enhancements to the market.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:

Establish and Maintain Governance Activities

  • Help drive the implementation and compliance to a governance framework to manage effective operations across HR COEs and their Service Providers
  • Manage program tools to enable planning for the deployment of HR Technology initiatives, and to help inform Change Management & Communications, and Learning requirements
  • Strive for continued process improvement and efficiencies across the HR Technology governance framework


Manage Workstream Activities

  • Manage the project management activities for multiple workstreams within the larger program
  • Monitor risks, actions, decisions and support workstream in driving tasks to completion
  • Manage the HR Technology roadmap for designated workstreams
  • Foresees, identifies and resolves problems
  • Support functional team members in preparing for and facilitating leadership conversations
  • Lead planning for meetings, facilitation of agenda, preparing content, tracking key actions and documenting decisions and actions; drive clarity in conversations to confirm actions, owners and due dates


Project Delivery

  • Partner with Change Management & Communications resources to drive the creation of integrated deployment strategies and plans based upon the HR Technology Roadmap
  • Thinks creatively and proactively to develop, execute and implement plans
  • Manage the execution of deployment strategies
  • Facilitate the coordination with Continent teams, managing meetings, actions and communications
  • Manage the communications process related to HR Technology defects and support


Discipline Partnership

  • Fosters strong discipline relationships to fully understand business needs and drive results toward the program goals
  • Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
  • Works effectively across workstreams to manage cross-discipline activities
  • Escalates risks, issues and decisions needed to program leadership.
  • Present to key stakeholders on project status as well as risks and issues and decisions needed
  • Serves as the escalation point of contact for assigned discipline(s); leads efforts to resolve escalated issues


Additional Responsibilities

  • Inform and/or update leadership, peers, and subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner.
  • Manage time effectively and conducts activities in an organized manner.
  • Presents ideas, expectations and information for executive-level audiences.
  • Uses problem solving methodology for decision making and follow up.
  • Performs other reasonable duties as assigned by manager.

EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS  

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, or related major; 7+ years experience in executing projects
  • Proven experience managing a complex, multi-functional initiative
  • Ability to accomplish results through others, particularly by establishing relationships
  • Ability to develop and enforce program governance
  • Experience planning deployment efforts to large stakeholder groups
  • Experience working in a consultative role, that requires coordination across a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Experience developing and delivering executive-level content
