JOB SUMMARY
Implement a successful solicitation and sales strategy to targeted guests, companies and meeting planners in order to meet and/or exceed revenue goals. Provide the leadership expertise that ensures the effective selling of guest rooms and meeting space. Mentor and coach sales team members including the setting and attainment of quarterly goals. Manage third party group and crew relationships and lead volume. Maximize profitability and market penetration. Lead and participate in total hotel management as a member of the hotel Executive Committee, and in the community as a representative of ownership, the brand and Highgate hotels within the market.

JOB REQUIREMENT
- Achieve and exceed budgeted room nights and revenue goals annually.
- Analyze and estimate total value of each piece of business and negotiate best situation for achieving optimum revenue for the hotel while ensuring excellent customer service.
- Utilize the marketing plan in order to uncover new and potential business.
- Ensure accuracy for forecasting of revenues with most updated information.
- Recruit, direct, manage, train and counsel sales staff.
- Assist Sales/Catering/Convention services in obtaining necessary customer information and closing business, as requested.
