Some tasks may include, but are not limited to:
SOURCING & PROCUREMENT
- Accommodation and meeting space sourcing via Cvent
- Presentation and recommendation to internal client
- Project administration (project agreements, purchase orders) in strict compliance with client processes
- Sourcing, negotiation and contracting
- Project reporting to the Account Director, Director of Operations and Project Teams
RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
- Manage and maintain good supplier relationships
- Tracking of supplier data
- Maintaining a supplier database
- Occasional attendance at supplier presentations
- Occasional participation at industry tradeshows
OTHER TASKS
- Monitor and maintain quality and adherence to processes, identifying and contributing to their improvement
- To be actively involved in company plans and activities
- Identifying potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers, and building and maintaining good relationships with them
- Negotiating and agreeing contracts and monitoring their progress, checking the quality of service provided
- Sourcing hotels for corporate or institutional events
- Keeping contract files and using them as reference for the future
- Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities
- Producing reports and statistics using computer software
- Evaluating bids and making recommendations based on commercial and technical factors
- Ensuring suppliers are aware of business objectives
- Assist local offices in collecting data
- Track and review reports with offices
The occupant of this position will report to the Global Head of Hotel Procurement. The occupant will work closely with the Global Hotel Procurement team based out of the HQ in Geneva, but also have direct contact with our suppliers and other offices.

Fluent in English, working knowledge of French an asset but not required, additional languages (written and spoken) are highly sought after
- Language required: English. French is a plus
