ABC Entertainment seeks a qualified candidate for an Administrative Assistant position to support a VP of Network, Drama Development. Responsibilities
  • Handle a variety of administrative duties including word processing, preparing simple documents (including letters and correspondence)
  • Maintain heavy calendar scheduling, phones and travel arrangements Prepare and submit expense reports and purchasing requests for supplies
  • Update and maintain a variety of status reports and charts
  • Organize files, contracts and legal documentation
  • Prepare presentations for internal/external meetings
  • Handle client contact list and correspondence with clients
  • Create and maintain files and filing system
Basic Qualifications
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of previous experience in a similar role at a creative agency, studio, network or production company.
  • Someone with a passion for television and the desire for a career in TV
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to work overtime with short notice; ability to work flexible work hours
  • Must work well under pressure
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Ability to successfully coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications
  • Network development experience
  • Existing knowledge of the television business and industry experience
  • SAP experience
Required Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
