About the job

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Bartender is responsible in completing all assigned tasks with the highest level of quality.

They deliver products and services, exhibit guest relations through knowledge and experience in accordance with the vision, values and objectives of the Company.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepares and assembles orders in sequence, with the right techniques and makes quality checks before service, ensuring City of Dreams Mediterranean standards
Ensures that all products and services are delivered accurately and in a timely manner
Assists in waiter, host, cashier or steward tasks if requested by the Outlet Supervisor
Exhibits a thorough understanding of all related services and products and the ability to recommend and upsell alternatives
Keeps the Outlet and working stations clean and organized, both at the front as well as the heart of house
Maintains back up supplies stock for the daily operations and anticipates busy demands by reporting any shortages
Assists with monthly inventory checks on all bar operating equipment and supplies
Anticipates guests’ need and strives to exceed their expectations
Recognizes, welcomes the guests, smiles and maintains visual contact with every patron, greets all regular customers by name
Holds a thorough knowledge of the casino and hotel layout in order to ensure that guest queries can be answered or referred promptly
Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming
Attends training sessions and meetings as and when required
Adheres to all Company policies and procedures
Reports accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to supervisors
Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by superiors due to business requirements

  • - Meals provided while and off duty - Uniforms provided - 21 Days Annual Leave - Provident Fund after 6 month probation period - 13th Salary

About you

QUALIFICATIONS:


Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience as a bar tender or similar, preferably in the Hotel industry

Education

High School diploma
Qualifications from a Bar tending school or similar is an advantage
Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar is an advantage

Skills

Knowledge of Bar related products, practices and equipment
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Possesses strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent command of English, Greek and other languages are highly regarded
PERSONAL COMPETENCIES:

Displays a high commitment to delivering results
Displays the highest level of integrity

  • Language required: English. Greek and Russian are a plus
