We are currently recruiting for a Reception Team Leader to join us at the Alton Towers Resort, the UK's only attraction that specialises in making Britain happy!
Our reception is the first port of call for guests staying at the Alton Towers Resort. And it's the challenge for our new Reception Team Leader to ensure all Reception procedures create fantastical moments and high standards of hospitality at all times. With shared responsibility with our front of house team, you'll strive to establish a friendly, courteous and helpful environment in which all the needs of our guests are addressed. More specifically, you'll handle guest check in, oversee the Reception, Porters and Door team and maintain a thorough knowledge of all facilities within the Alton Towers Resort.
We are looking for the following skills and experience\:
Well developed computer skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Experience in leadership and organisational duties
A good general education
A background in the hotel industry
An understanding of the Opera system would be an advantage.
The role is full time, for approximately 6 months (March to November 2018), averaging 40 hours per week and will include weekends and bank holidays as required.
