About the role...
Is an active member of the Events team, delivering memorable experiences to resort guests during special events. The position ensures the needs of resort guests are met with high standards of customer service, product knowledge, communication, and the smooth operation of events.
What you’ll be doing...
-Prepares for and delivers memorable experiences to guests.
-Maintains a continuous focus on interacting with guests and providing proactive guest service.
-Greets every Guest as they enter a venue (holding doors open where appropriate) and provides event related information.
-Maintains up-to-date knowledge regarding events, the resort, resort services, resort products, location of key resort areas, and resort experiences, answering guest questions in a professional manner, assisting with guest related problems, and proactively providing assistance anticipating guest needs.
-Ensures all Guests’ needs are met, with an aim to anticipate and exceed Guest expectations.
-Ensures a continuous and appropriate flow of communication (including verbally) to guests.
-Enters into character via costume and/or make-up for special positions during events.
-Cleans venues thoroughly following events.
-Follows established LEGOLAND Florida Resort and Merlin policies and procedures at all times.
-Keeps safety as #1 priority. Ensures safety rules are adhered to.
Who we’re looking for...
Must possess Guest interaction skills and requires excellent skills in Guest service. Requires strong problem solving skills, dedication to providing outstanding Guest service, self-motivation, and demonstrated initiative. Requires the ability to remain calm under pressure. Position requires the ability to effectively follow directions and remember details. Position requires the ability to maintain a guest service-oriented demeanour. Basic reading and writing skills are required.
