We are Chessington World of Adventures Resort and we are part of the magical Merlin Entertainments!
Our Guests are ravenous after a fun filled day on the Resort and they will arrive to our Hotels looking for a feast! We are currently recruiting for a Junior Sous Chef to step up and join our friendly and hardworking Kitchen team, delivering a memorable dining experience our guests!
Reporting into one of our Sous Chefs, you will assist with the smooth and efficient operation of our Hotel Kitchen’s, ensuring all health and safety & food safety procedures are strictly followed and only the highest standard of food leaves the kitchen. Once confident you will get the opportunity to run a shift and manage the kitchen, ensuring that waste is kept to a minimum whilst profit levels are maximised.
We are looking for the following skills and experience;
• Strong communication skills
• Bags of enthusiasm & energy
• Passionate about good quality food
• Have a solid background of progression within kitchens
• Previous experience in high volume A la carte, buffet and banquet operations
This role is full time, permanent, averaging 40 hours per week working 5 days out of 7. Due to the nature of the business you will need to be flexible as shifts could include covering our various peak times of morning, lunchtime & evening, as well as weekends & bank holidays.
