We’re looking for a passionate, creative and hard-working Social Media & PR Executive to join the Marketing team at Alton Towers Resort, the UK's only attraction that specialises in making Britain happy!
In this role you'll be responsible or the day to day running of our our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat channels, and for creating innovative and engaging content that will help build our brand with our key target audiences – thrill seekers and families.

You'll have a passion for all things digital, be creative with experience of creating content for social media and excellent writing skills. You’ll ideally have 2-3 years’ experience working in a digital agency, online journalism or in-house communications. You’ll also be passionate about the latest trends in how brands are using social media to communicate.
We are looking for the following skills and experience\:
- Ability to create engaging and concise content
- Extensive knowledge of social media with ability to provide insightful feedback and identify potential reputational threats
- Leisure/entertainment industry passion and knowledge coupled with creative PR skills and commercial awareness
The role is full time, averaging 40 hours per week and will include weekends and bank holidays as required.
