About the job

Our resident masters of multitasking, our Room Reservations Team simultaneously handle all telephone, email and third party booking enquiries for our stunning property. Always gracious, energetic and fun, they're never too busy to help you out in a jam and their infectious team spirit is contagious!

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Room Reservations Agent to join the team. You'll be the first point of contact for all reservations enquiries and responsible for kick-starting a memorable and engaging guest experience. If you think you've got what it takes, we'd love to hear from you!

Experience Required

  • Good guest interaction and communication skills and excellent telephone manner.
  • The ability to multitask in a high volume environment is essential.
  • Sound decision making capabilities.
  • A strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Previous experience in a 5* or boutique lifestyle environment.
  • Previous high volume hotel experience is preferable.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receives, processes, confirms room reservations by e-mail and telephone.
  • Enters and confirms all reservations details including special requests into the booking system ensuring the accuracy of all information.
  • Maintains regular guest correspondence via email and third party booking channels.
  • Makes, amends and corrects GDS reservations.
  • Handles all "No Show" reservations and follows up with the bookers accordingly via telephone or email.
  • Keeps up to date with hotel promotions and seasonal room rates.
  • Ensures that daily reports are correctly and accurately generated and distributed to the relevant individuals.
