Front Office Manager

Are you the people manager who can motivate a team with your positive attitude? Are you the perfect host in the eye of our guests, tour leaders and conference organisers? Do you make sure that the quality of service is exceeding expectations? Then this is the perfect role for you!

The perfect candidate will have:



  • An education in hospitality, preferably hotel school

  • Work eexperience of a minimum of 3 years as (ass.) Front Office Manager within the hotel industry (preference a large size hotel)

  • The ability to coach, motivate and inspire a team

  • Proactive attitude, sense of responsibility and stress resistant.

  • Strong communication skills

  • Command of the English language is required, knowledge of Dutch is a plus

  • Strong computer skills, good knowledge of Word, Excel and Property Management Systems. Knowledge of Opera V9 is a preferred.

  • In possession of a BHV certificate

  • And very important, a big dose of humour!



This is what we have to offer you:



  • Full-time contract of 38 hours per week

  • This function falls in scale 8 with a salary between €2.650 - €3.300 gross per month according to the Horeca CLA.

  • 25 holiday days per year

  • Travel allowance of max. €150,- per month, based on the number of km.

  • Night allowance of 20% and Sunday allowance of 5%.

The main responsibilities will consist of:



  • Planning and organizing the tasks in the Front Office through scheduling, writing SOPs

  • Recruit, train, coach and evaluate the Front Office team (15 persons)

  • Monitoring the entire payment flow, towards accounting

  • Successfully dealing with complaints and requests of guests

  • Achieve departmental targets in terms of quality, upselling and employee satisfaction

  • Anticipate guests’ needs and take action to improve guest satisfaction.

  • Managing the expectations of our All Accor Loyalty guest program
