Newrest is present in Mauritius in inflight catering activities. To follow and implement Newrest Group’s strategy in our subsidiaries

  • Ensure compliance with contractual commitments between Newrest, its customers and clients
  • To strengthen commercial development
  • To be the sponsor of the implementation of ISO procedures, HACCP and standard within Newrest’s integrated management system
  • To ensure financial efficiency through group's approach toward P&L and balance sheet dynamics
  • Ensure the best operational management of the inflight unit and supervise procurement and production
  • Identify activities with no added value that must be eliminated, carry out audits on work methods and procedure, detect problems, outline the most problematic, and encourage the implementation of corrective actions
  • Ensure the quality of relationships with all authorities, service providers, internal and external contacts of the unit
  • Ensure that production, organization, verification of figures and forecasts, run smoothly
  • Supervise recruitment
  • Lead, manage, trained and support teams Manage the daily relationship with local airport authorities


  • Minimum 7 years of experience at a managing level
  • ideally in the field of inflight catering or agri-food industry
  • English & French fluent, is necessary
  • Implement procedures of rationalization, control and reporting
  • Analyze results, offer and implement remedial action (through detailed action plans, quantified and followed)
  • Excellent communication skills (customers, suppliers, investors, employees ...)
