Job description
At Ohpen hospitality is of paramount importance. As our new Hospitality Associate, you’ll be the first impression of Ohpen that visitors will have. The Facility & Office Management department’s mission is to exceed the expectations of all visitors and employees at all our offices. Exceeding expectations can be in the small details, like knowing what kind of coffee our guest likes. Joining Ohpen gives you the chance to grow in the field of in-house hospitality and as we’re growing, opportunities may arise.
BRIEFING
Your mission is to welcome every single guest like they’re entering a five-star hotel. With great enthusiasm and energy, you will make our guests smile once they have entered our offices. This position requires the ability to prioritize, multi-task and fill our office with a positive vibe. As a Hospitality Associate you know what’s important in hospitality and know about the small details that fuel the team and keep the office up and running. You will be mainly responsible for running the reception desk, but your task will not be limited to this. We expect you to run and assist in projects of the department, from: booking flights for fellow employees, contact suppliers and maintenance crews, when things need to be fixed and help with internal relocations.
Next to the above your new job involves:
Guest relations: cover the reception position, receive guests and facilitate in-house events;
Answer and forward all phone calls and respond to inquiries;
Day-to-day office (administrative) tasks: manage general meeting room calendars, prepare meeting rooms and lunches, ensuring there are refreshments and office supplies, a tidy office, mail services, as well as other ad hoc projects;
Handle the colleague who eats only bio or vegan or swears by French Toast Thursday;
Develop strong relationships with various in-house departments such as IT, Finance, HR and Marketing;
Initiate fun, creative and entertaining ideas to make our office and working environment even more kick-ass.
