We’re looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to continue driving the rapid growth we’ve experienced in New York. The Business Development Manager role involves in-depth knowledge of the NY real estate community and competence spanning strategy and execution to drive host and guest growth, build brand awareness, and promote new business development.
Naturally, you’ll be interested in the ins and outs of the private rental industry, as well as the specific homes we want. You’ll have an analytical mind, serious attention to detail and a love for processes. As someone who feels comfortable in any scenario, you’ll jump at the opportunity to see beautiful properties, meet with a wide range of interesting and influential people – and show them the benefits of our service.
Responsibilities and duties
-Driving supply growth in New York through close relationship with the local high end real estate community
-Driving demand through relationship with key partners, real estate, entertainment, PR - and relocation agencies
-Navigating a highly complex real estate environment, with local regulations and building rules
-Schedule and conduct broker, owner and developer meetings / networking events
-Manage our network of brokers relationships and create new relationships that will generate listings and rental leads
Qualifications and experience
-Bachelor’s degree with strong performance from a good university
-History of networking within the New York real estate community
-Commercial drive and determination – achieving growth beyond expectations is why you come to work
-Excellent written communication skills
-Intellectual curiosity & passions outside of work
-You’re a doer as well as a thinker – you take a practical, action orientated approach to simply getting stuff done
-Personable and empathetic. You’re capable and confident in speaking with our homeowners and they trust you with their most precious commodity, their homes.
