Role purpose

The One Fine Stay Financial Analysis & FP&A team works with the business to support high level strategic decisions. Within this team, a Financial Analyst will be major contributor to developing the financial plans for One Fine Stay as it goes through consistent high growth. Daily tasks consist in analysing and identifying key financial information and trends to advice, drive and influence key business decisions.


Key Accountabilities

  • Develop budgets and forecasts for the business running scenarios affecting the business units
  • Help to improve team’s internal processes and reporting
  • Prepares quarterly and annual budget
  • Creates monthly and ad-hoc reports for the business units with insight to improve decision making
  • Help drive profitability through the provision of quality management information and commercial advice
  • Make recommendations to support the achievement of both business strategies and operations
  • Create ad-hoc business plans/models to support business unit ideas and requests
  • Provides analysis and guidance around monthly spend

Key Performance Indicators

  • Creates quarterly and annual budget with business unit approval
  • Ensures that the Business leaders are taking healthy financial decisions and that the company’s overall financial targets are achieved
  • Provides monthly analysis on variance between spend and budget

  • Accounting - monthly basis - share findings on spend versus budget
  • Business unit – 25% of the sitting with the business unit in meetings/ discussions


  • Bachelors in Business Administration/ Finance/ Economics
  • Masters degree desired, preferably a MBA
  • Self starter that takes ownership of issues and drives them toward a conclusion
  • Able to succeed in a fast, high-growth and fairly unstructured work environment
  • Ability to dig into details as well as analyse data from a high level view
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Open and internal customer focused approach
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Team player
