About the job

Located in a peaceful area in the heart of the medieval city of Bruges, Novotel Bruges Center and Ibis Bruges Center are the favorite places for travelers. Guests will have the choice between Novotel, offering a garden with a large terrace, whose accomodations are decorated in a modern style warm and bright tones or Ibis, which is located in a pretty medieval building, and adds an authentic touch to all trips.

Main responsibilities :

Develop and maintain an account base to achieve hotels revenues goals.
Be responsible for and implement a sales action plan for the development of the designated market segments which includes telephone/direct mail solicitation, personal call program, related sales trips, trade show participation and entertainment.
Achieve annual goals
Respond promptly to all inquiries and correspondence from clients, prospects and lead referrals.
Respond promptly to requests by Director of Sales and Director of marketing for reports and other assignments.
Execute sales calls and sales trips as designated.
Achieve sales and revenue goals as specified in the goal setting process.
Develop working relationship with hotels
Be knowledgeable of local and national competitive hotels and marketing strategies.
Follow up with clients during meetings
Provide monthly reports of sales and marketing actions.
Maintain efficient and time processing of paperwork, files and reports

Represent Hotels in a professional manner at all times.
Promotes and applies teamwork skills at all times
Notifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of problems and/or unusual matters of significance

Executes emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards
Complies with required safety regulations and procedures
Attends appropriate hotel meetings and training sessions
Complies with hotel standards, policies and rules
Remains current with hotel information and changes

About you

Specific Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

2+ years hotel sales experience required, specifically in full-service hotels.

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job.

Must have excellent communication, organizational and guest relations skills.
  • Language required: English. Dutch is a plus
