Job description

The Oxford and Cambridge Club is an exclusive private members Club with a Grade II*-listed Clubhouse in central London. The Club has 46 bedrooms, a fine dining restaurant, 3 banqueting suites, 2 bars, 2 squash courts, a billiards room and extensive libraries. The Club has nearly 5000 members.

The Role

We are recruiting a vibrant and enthusiastic Learning and Development Manager to join our Human Resources team who will lead our Professional Skills Academy training and development within the Club. The role is a full time position having flexibility to work diverse shifts, including Duty Management shifts at the weekend as and when required by the duty management rota.

The successful candidate for the role will:

• Be a passionate and innovative trainer and be instrumental in designing and delivering a world class development experience with the stated aim of working to establish the Oxford and Cambridge Club as an employer of choice
• Have the ability to develop and deliver the Oxford and Cambridge Club Professional Skills Academy training programme
• Be competent in managing the Learning and Development budget

Qualifications and Experience

• CIPD Level 5 in Learning and Development, equivalent or above
• Strong communication, IT, analytical and reporting skills
• Experienced in developing and delivering training to internal stakeholders, coaching and mentorship
• Experienced in business planning and development
• Experience within the hospitality industry advantageous but not essential
