Paid Internship in Culinary!

Culinary Intern & Trainee:

-Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
-Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.
-Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
-Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
-Prepare cold foods.
-Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
-Test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently.
-Monitor food quality while preparing food.
-Set-up and break down work station.
-Serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles.
-Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
-Check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food.

This opportunity will require a J-1 visa which has specific eligibility requirements.
To qualify as an Intern you must be EITHER (1) currently enrolled in university studying in the career field of the internship OR (2) have graduated with a degree in the internship career field within the last 12 months.
To qualify as a Trainee you must be EITHER (1) graduated with a degree in the traineeship career field and have one year of related experience outside of the U.S., OR (2) without a degree, have 5 or more years of experience in the field.
