You will be responsible to assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.
The Assistant Manager - Laundry is responsible to assist the Laundry Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the laundry department in Rooms Division, which includes the area of laundry, dry cleaning and the uniform room.
To assist the Laundry Manager in being responsible for the supervision/co-ordination of all contracted Laundry staff by ensuring that all services offered by the laundry department are available and carried out with the utmost efficiency.
To have full knowledge of all the washing, dry cleaning, presser machines and all equipment utilized in the laundry department for operation and maintenance.
To have a full knowledge and understanding of all the chemical products utilized and their proper and economical use. Proper storage the environmental and proper disposal of all toxic products.
Ideally with a diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.
Minimum 2 years work experience as Asst. Laundry Manager or Laundry Team Leader in larger operations.
Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills and good command of English language are a must.
