Job description


This Food and Beverage Manager position supervises day-to-day operation and will be responsible for total maintenance and sanitation in all food productive service areas. Additional duties may include scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, evaluating and hiring of staff. This person may also experience other aspects of the operation from a leadership perspective. Areas of exposure and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as senior leadership by developing and assuming key management responsibilities
  • Supervise the operation of other F&B outlets within the hotel
  • Plan, organize and execute any assigned projects
  • Help plan, coordinate and execute special events
  • Gain knowledge of and lead employees through scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, evaluating and hiring
  • Lead and coach the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and employee engagement results
  • Monitor food and beverage service, ordering, cost and quality consistency on a daily basis
  • Participate in all leadership activities such as meetings, training, etc.

  • Local 6 Union Experience Required
  • Luxury or fine dining restaurant experience required
  • Ideal applicant should have strong organizational skills, ability to work with flexible work schedule, be a team player and a dynamic leader
