What will I be doing?
As our Sales Support Coordinator, you will provide administrative and customer service support to our sales function across both the Parmelia Hilton and DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Northbridge hotels. You will work closely within our commercial team to complete various administrative functions, answer and direct incoming telephone calls, greet guests with warmth and professionalism and update all data necessary for sales department.
As a Sales Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks:
Offer sales client support and champion customer service excellence throughout your interactions: telephone queries, follow up calls, email queries, face-to-face client tours, appointments and internal meetings.
Ensure proposals, contracts, database maintenance and other administrative sales tasks are delivered in a timely manner and are accurately completed.
Assist with pre-sale preparation; you''ll liaise with marketing to arrange sales collateral and giveaway materials for our team to distribute during sales activities, promotional activities and client visits.
Help in organising activities and events that support our sales and marketing functions and encourage customer engagement; this includes but is not limited to client entertainment, both in house and externally, and function coordination.
Conduct client Tour of Inspections (TOIs) for the hotels, always representing the hotels positively and promoting our facilities and services.
Assist our revenue and commercial team in collating market intelligence, researching sales trends and competitor activity, food and beverage analytics and with reporting requirements.
Sell, sell, sell; process new sales lead and assist in client management through monitoring customer accounts.
Other sales support duties as assigned and to support the efficient running of the sales office and changing business demands.
What are we looking for?
To be our Sales Support Coordinator you''ll need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
A track record of engaging with clients, guests or customers; in person, by email and telephone.
A degree, diploma or certificate in business, commerce, hospitality, business, hotels or another related field.
Previous experience in a sales, customer service and/or a business development role; previous work with data analytics is advantageous.
An ability to work on a full time basis, generally Monday to Friday; however the role requires some flexibility to cater to business and occasionally entertain clients at evening functions.
Excellent administration and coordination skills, experience with Microsoft suite, OnQ and Delphi systems is highly desirable.
Previous success in working with and successfully achieving targets.
Strong administration and communication skills.
Secondary language skills, particularly fluent Mandarin, Cantonese and/or Japanese will be highly regarded.
