Who are we?
Phileas Systems is a cloud innovative B2B software that serve as a complete management tool for hotels.
Founded in 2018 we work hand in hand with hoteliers to build our solutions.
We work in 1 year long R&D phases, each ending with the commercialisation of a different product.
We are a small team of 6 people, passionate by what we do and excited by the future challenge our industry is facing!

Your mission?

To support the growth of our business, we are seeking our first Business developer.
Your primary focus will be on selling our first product, a Revenue Optimisation Software. You will be deciding sales strategy and on-boarding procedures with Phileas’ founders.
You will work in collaboration with the R&D team and bring your field expertise to make our product better.

Responsibilities:

- Work hand in hand with CEO to build the commercial strategy of our first product
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
- Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
- Gather and prioritize feedback from first customers
- Collaborate with product team to implement new key functionalities
- Bring hospitality expertise in the R&D of our products

Salary - Based on experience.

Requirements

Who you are:

- Autonomous and mature
- A born entrepreneur
- Fast learner and passion for sales
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Previous experience in hotel operations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Be willing to help your teammates, share your knowledge with them, and learn from them.
- Be open to receiving feedback.
- Fluent in french and english
