GENERAL SUMMARY
The key function of the Marketing Manager is to support the Marketing Director in the delivery
of the Marketing Strategy. The Marketing Manager is responsible for driving incremental
revenue to member hotels, elevating the profile of the Preferred Hotels & Resorts brand and
delivering growth of the I Prefer customer loyalty program.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
Under the general supervision of the Director, Marketing – Europe, the Marketing Manager will
work with Regional Directors, Revenue Account Managers, Group Marketing and PR Teams,
IT, Finance, and Creative Services. This role will be the primary day to day account manager
supporting member hotels. There will also be regular interaction with external agencies and
luxury travel partners.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Regional Marketing:
- Owns the hotel participation sales plan for the annual marketing plan.
- Assists in the delivery of 360 degree marketing across GDS; digital; print; social media
and TV.
- Owns the marketing execution plan for specific regional programs and segments
- Develops email marketing themes for the region and works with group marketing
ecomms team on delivery.
- Works with Group Marketing / PR / creative services to maximize exposure for the
PH&R brand, our member hotels and regions.

* Digital Advertising:
- Assists in the execution of the digital marketing plan.
- Works with digital marketing agency to co-ordinate programs, creative, and reporting.

* Brand Marketing:
- Supports the execution of the brand advertising plan for print across Europe.
- Negotiates with media to secure favorable pricing and added values.
- Completes briefs for adverts and advertorials and coordinates delivery to publications.

* Customer Loyalty:
- Implements marketing campaigns to support the growth of the I Prefer program,
specifically relating to acquisition strategies.

* Partnerships:
- Assists in the development and maintenance of relationships with luxury, travel and
financial partners to create and execute mutually beneficial campaigns.

* Trade Marketing
- Develop and execute marketing strategies that reach the travel trade

* Hotel Relations:
- Day to day hotel account manager in Europe for marketing
- Deliver hotel implementations for new member hotels and preparation of materials for
hotel business reviews

* Adhoc Duties (included but not limited to):
- Day to day Admin duties
- Regular reporting and presentation development
- CRM entries

WORKING CONDITIONS
Working environment is located in one of the most distinct and highly appointed office
buildings in Central London, close to commuter lines.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
* Minimum four years’ experience in integrated marketing (digital; print; GDS) including
planning, execution and measurement of program plans
* Must have experience from the travel/hospitality industry
* Analytical skills with ability to assess data and form recommendations
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Technology and web savvy with proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
* Educated to degree level or show a similar level of professional development
* Fluent in one other language (desired)
