Job description

We at the Pullman Barcelona Skipper are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and approachable individual to fill the duties of a Guest Relations Interns for the next 6 months.

Although the position centers on Front Office Operations, it will also cross-over with the Guest Relations Department and interns will have the opportunity to learn from both branches.

At our program’s core lies the principle that all interns are here to learn and that there is no better formula for growth within the hospitality industry than by combining the theoretical knowledge they learn in class with invaluable and guided practical experience.
Among the most pressing responsibilities that inters will undertake in this role will be:

• Develop close relationships with guests throughout their stay with the aim of gaining their loyalty.
• Learning how to write professional Welcome and VIP cards and supervising their distribution to the relevant parties.
• Participating in the creation and maintenance of soft benefits for all of our guests such as our Daily Newsletter, Welcome Drink Vouchers and WOW program.
• Introduction to Front Office Operations such as Check-in and Check-out procedures.
• Promote all amenities, conveniences and programs offered.
• Understanding the basic principles of the Accor Loyalty Program (LCAH) and learning to interact with our most distinguished guests. Assist in overseeing and coordinating all their arrivals.
• Coordinate and manage communication between guests and staff and follow up to ensure complete service recovery.
• Full understanding of Lobby Welcomer Responsabilities and learning to master the role (this includes Guest Welcoming and orientation, Concierge Services, and Guest Relations duties which will place them at the forefront of the hotel’s customer service)
• Analyze customer feedback and provide strategic direction to continuously improve overall hotel ratings.
• Respond to guest needs and anticipate their unstated ones.
• Learn to manage and resolve guest complaints.
