About Your Job:

In this role you will be responsible to provide leadership on a commercial level within the Sales Innovations & Market Development team for QR's worldwide agency sales. Instigate, drive and support revenue producing sales actions across the entire Network via the trade channel. Drive positive change in Sales Performance through the creation and implementation of sales strategies across the Network. Minimize the COS and ROI from direct sales actions via the Trade.

Analyse, Report and Track all aforementioned activities working closely with the Sales Planning unit. 

Key accountabilities include:

  • Develop new innovative systems, processes and ideas focused to steer Global Sales to maximize short and long term revenue opportunities in QR's worldwide agency sales, ancillary and new direct connect opportunities
  • Drive, increase and maintain the Trade Revenue Contribution which represents 80% of the entire Qatar Airways Passenger Revenue income to ensure Network Budget Achievement
  • Develop and enhance Galaxy platform ensuring key module development focused in Sales efficiency 
  • Accountable for establishing effective communication channels between the Field and HQ that effectively mange’s the relationship in both directions

About You:
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 
  • minimum 8 years of relevant experience in understanding of travel industry and Airline Marketing.
  • Strong Sales ability, Negotiation and leadership skills
  • Experience in selling of airline, tour operators, or hotel products, together with good knowledge of Trade Distribution Channels. 

 You have excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills, excellent research skills using internet sources, tools, social media, etc.

You have the ability to see the bigger picture, proven research skills, mathematical modelling; you are able to coordinate project activities and tasks across many departments, vendors and stakeholders. You also have the ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills.
