The e-Commerce executive, North America will be responsible for developing strategies to optimize website content on both the USA and Canada Qatar Airways websites, in view of driving incremental sales. This includes optimization of landing pages based on metrics, identifying new content opportunities leveraging consumer data and profiles, ensuring website pages are aligned with the digital media and e-newsletter programs, and generally maintaining the websites fresh, engaging, and in line with overarching brand and marketing objectives. Other key responsibilities of the eCommerce Executive, North America position include being the go-to person in the team for copy creation, in both English and French.
Specific accountabilities include:
- Manage the content for the USA and Canada Qatar Airways websites, in both English and French (Canada only), and ensure landing pages are created and updated in a timely manner, while being aligned with various promotional actions and product developments, keeping our websites fluid and engaging
- Optimize the website pages leveraging a multitude of data points, including website analytics, digital media performance metrics, e-newsletter results, etc. Build a “best in class” content program in which landing pages are fine-tuned to each campaign objective
- Own the UX strategy to improve engagement and website conversion rates: monitor website analytics daily to identify any opportunities for initiating A/B testing, warn against any potential bugs or issues, while working with stakeholders in Qatar Airways Headquarters to generally improve the website experience
- Leverage consumer data to initiate and test new website content concepts to drive performance and sales
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports vis-a-vis landing page performance
- Collaborate with the Marketing department to write engaging copy for digital media (banners, native, etc..), e-newsletter, and all other digital formats

Essential:
- Prior experience in digital marketing or e-commerce
- Prior experience with copy-writing for marketing purposes
- Understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Strong knowledge of website metrics and how to interpret them
- Proficiency with digital analytics tools
- Fluency in French, written and spoken
- Proficiency with MS office packages
- Team player comfortable in a highly collaborative and cross-functional environment
- A passion for keeping up to date with all the latest digital marketing trends
Preferred:
- 2 years or more working within an e-commerce or digital marketing department, with focus on B2C
- Travel industry experience
- Adobe Omniture expertise
- Adobe Experience Manager expertise
- Experience with Canadian market
