About Your Job:

As the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the achievement of passenger revenue budget and growth from the assigned National Sales Territory and Distribution Channels. You will also be responsible for formulating and implementing sales plan at National level. The plan must be designed to be in line with airlines’ commercial objectives, optimise Qatar Airways revenue and presence in the market for key/strategic/national accounts. You will contribute towards formulation of annual revenue budget and sales strategy for the country. You would be accountable for strategic direction of Qatar Airways at National Level and defining the optimal way to maximize revenue by implementing sales strategies and tactical initiatives with key contributors.

You would contribute to the development and implementation of strategy to maximize short and long term revenue opportunities for the airline. You will initiate strategies to reduce cost of sales and generate channel shift where appropriate. You will also manage projects and initiatives at national/key/strategic accounts level e.g. incentive structures at National level, in line with airlines’ expected growth.  You would be closely cooperating with state sales and commercial managers, marketing, pricing and business development teams in terms of design and execution of national accounts strategy and account development plans. You will seek agreement and involvement of key stakeholders, both internally and externally. You would set up and control expenditure budget and ensure Cost of Sales is always within or below the budget. You will provide sales leadership to the Managers at Sub Regional Level by setting strategic road map for sales team in channel distribution and approach to achieve Sales Objectives for the airline in the assigned territory.

You would be responsible to manage relationships with other airlines, trade bodies and general public.

      About You:

      To be successful in this role, you will need a relevant bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10-12 years of Commercial airline experience in a sales related discipline.

      You would need to have experience in managing national/key/strategic accounts in International Markets and a track record of revenue delivery with excellent knowledge of travel segment.
