Job description

About the Role:

In this role you will manage business accounts, ensure delivery of assigned IT-projects/IT-solutions working closely with business users, other departments of the QR and suppliers. This includes solutions built in-house, acquired packages and IT application support. Strong functional domain knowledge/expertise is required in two or more areas i.e. Financial Accounting/Treasury/Insurance/Supply-Chain/Cash-Management.

You will ensure the project plans are realistic, maintained, properly resourced and delivery is within time and cost. The projects are carried out through the defined phases fully complying with QR IT processes and procedures and that the solutions are met within the agreed requirements and business expectations. You will be required to ensure that the solutions are adequately tested (functional, non-functional, performance and integration tested) before User Acceptance Testing. You would also be responsible for assessing the risks and mitigation/management strategies are designed. Timely and accurate project information and reporting are provided to IT management and business stakeholders.

You will have to perform business analysis activities to analyze user requirements and define solutions meeting those requirements and document system specifications. Provide fair and accurate feedback on the performance of resources assigned to projects and application support. Contribute Business – IT strategy and IT budgeting of assigned business units.

Ensure that assigned applications are adequately supported. Manage the application support teams/suppliers to analyze system faults, assess severity levels and provide solutions Link similar problems by users or systems to enable detailed reporting and trend analysis.

      About You:

      To be successful in the role you must hold a degree in Engineering/ Computer Science/ Mathematics or Sciences field. You should have minimum ten years of IT experience out of which at least 6 plus years should be as a functional expert on Oracle ERP R12/Oracle-Fusion implementations. You should have experience in conducting at-least 2 end to end implementations of Oracle ERP-R12/Fusion covering Financials, Treasury, Cash Management modules etc.

      You must have experience/exposure to at-least two or more technical skills like OAF/AME-Workflows/XML-reports/Forms/Web-Services etc.

      We are looking for someone who has experience managing stakeholders with planning and organising skills along with excellent communication and presentation skills. You should have experience leading a team with a medium to large implementation projects. Airline domain experience would be an added advantage.
