Position Description
Responsibilities and Activities:
1. Coordinating the hotel’s reservation taking activities and proactively and creatively improving the hotel’s revenues
2. Actively managing the department and the team to provide guests with friendly and efficient service that maximizes satisfaction and increases profitability
3. Assisting and collaborating with the Director of Revenue to ensure the hotel’s inventory is managed in a way that maximizes the hotel’s revenues and profitability
4. Assisting the Revenue Manager in analyzing and tracking revenue
5. Developing and monitoring the department’s budget and acting to maintain it under control
6. Maintaining a constant information flow with the industry in order to remain up to date with the sector’s activity
7. Providing efficient, prompt, courteous, trouble-free and proactive service to customers, hence maximizing guest satisfaction
8. Performing an active role in the Human Resources Management function in order to increase employee well-being, satisfaction and productivity
9. Ensuring departmental guidelines, the departmental business plan and the Radisson BLU corporate guidelines and service concepts are followed within the department.
10. Ensuring all activities are performed in ways that are consistent with the Responsible Business principles of operation.
