Reporting into the VP Total Revenue Performance EMEA, the mission of the Area Director Revenue Optimization (ADRO) is to optimize Radisson Hotel Group revenues through the most profitable channels, segments and revenue streams by identifying the appropriate long-term strategies & short/mid-term tactics in accordance with the EMEA guidelines, as well as by leading, training and growing Senior, Cluster and Junior Revenue Managers.

 This includes but is not limited to influencing the whole Commercial Department with the right business recommendations in order to converge every discipline Leader towards the same scope: optimizing the business-mix in order to maximize the demand in constrained periods and minimizing the distressed inventory in unconstrained periods.

 The role is critical to engage more hotels within the Revenue Management Center by spreading the best practices across non-centralized hotels, facilitating a productive interaction with Hotel Owners and Management Teams, optimizing the internal resources to keep the whole funding model very agile and competitive. 

Responsibilities: 

- OPTIMIZING THE REVENUES: Identifying incremental revenue opportunities by forecasting properly the demand and drive the organization and the individual Revenue Managers towards average rate strategies in unconstrained periods and volume strategies in constrained ones through all channels, segments and all revenue streams.

- DRIVING THE CHANGE: Building the right environment, inside and outside the Revenue Management perimeter, to drive the organization towards three main Revenue cultural changes: Moving to total revenue management, re-organizing the teams to be more agile and decentralize non-operational activities and last but not least promoting the new era of Business Intelligence with the introduction of Pulse by RHG!

- ENGAGING MORE HOTELS: Expanding the Revenue Management Center is a crucial activity to improve the Company’s agility to influence on revenue generation and requires a constant dialogue and influence towards Hotel Owners, fluent best-practices sharing and team adaptation.

- GROWING TALENT: Despite the use of technology, the human intuition remains key in Revenue Management and in this direction fostering talents, growing them within the organization, listening to them and training them is essential

- INFLUENCING THE REST OF THE ORGANIZATION: Being one of the most analytical profile in the Area requires a strong influence not just on the Revenue Management team but also outside of its territory, embracing hotel teams and the rest of the Commercial disciplines.

A successful candidate knows the Hotel Industry and particularly all the commercial disciplines, has robust presentation skills, coaching skills, strong attitude to influence people and lead teams of 8-10 members.

Requirements: 

- BA in Business Economics or similar

- At least 5 years of work experience in similar positions or in a Senior Cluster Revenue Management role

- Proven experience in managing teams

- Fluent in English both written and spoken, another European language is a plus
